  • The Glass Theater: Phantom

the_glass_theater_phantomA collaboration between Charlotte Potter and Kim Harty, “The Glass Theater is a theatrical space for invention, discovery and experimentation. Using the hot shop as stage, artists, writers, performers, and glass blowers come together to expand on themes in contemporary art and culture. The Glass Theater fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and aims to break down boundaries between craft, performance and critical discourse.” The inaugural 2013 performance was based on the theme of Phantom, “derived from the 12th century Latin ‘phantasma,’ meaning an apparition, dream, illusion, ghost or fantasy.” The event included performances and work by Robin & Julia Rogers, Andy Paiko & Ethan Rose, Bohyun Yoon & Kishi Bashi, and Jocelyne Prince. The catalog includes essays from: Jonny Farrow, Brittan Scott, and Kim Harty.
